Acute/Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) and Progressive Care Nursing (PCCN) Adult Review Course

This two-day review course is designed to prepare those caring for acute/critically ill patients to sit for the critical care and/or progressive care nursing certification exams granted by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN). The review course will follow the exam blueprint as outlined in the CCRN/PCCN handbook on the organization’s website found at http://www.aacn.org/ incorporating all aspects of care required by this patient population. The exam also incorporates the Synergy Model which states that matching the needs of the patient with the competencies of the nurse results in optimal patient outcomes. Contact hours will be awarded upon attendance at both days of the course.
