Vascular Services

Our accredited vascular services specialize in diseases of the arteries and veins. These diseases are managed by medical therapy, minimally-invasive catheter procedures, and surgical reconstruction. Our vascular surgeons are trained in the diagnosis and management and treatment of diseases affecting all parts of the vascular system.

Our vascular services include:

  • Carotid endarterectomy
  • Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair (open and endovascular)
  • Endovascular bypass/limb salvage bypass
  • Iliac artery angioplasty and stenting
  • Vena cava filter placement
  • Renal artery angioplasty or surgery

The Johnson City Medical Center Vascular Center is proud to be the only multi-disciplinary team of expert vascular, open heart, peripheral artery and endovascular surgeons in our region.

Vascular Surgery

Vascular surgery provides treatment for vascular and venous conditions such as aneurysms and carotid artery blockages, peripheral vascular and venous diseases.

Vein Center

Vascular surgery is a type of surgery that is performed on the arteries and veins that lie outside the heart.

Mountain States Hospice looking for volunteers; training sessions set in Johnson City, Lebanon in March

Mountain States Hospice is holding two-day volunteer training workshops in Johnson City, Tenn., on March 22-23 and in Lebanon, Va., on March 27-28. Hospice focuses on patients in the last phases of life and provides loving support and care for them and their families. Hospice volunteers work directly and/or indirectly with hospice patients and their loved ones.
