Rehabilitation Services

We offer comprehensive rehabilitation services across the healthcare continuum to address the specific physical and cognitive impairments and needs of the persons in the communities that we serve.  We offer services from pediatrics to geriatrics and have a host of specialty trained clinicians available to evaluate, assess and treat a wide variety of diagnoses/conditions.

Treatments and Procedures

Common treatments and procedures include:

  • ‘Hands on” Manual Therapy
  • Therapuetic exercises
  • Electrical and Thermal modalities
  • Therapuetic activities/exercises focused on improving functional ability
  • Activities of Daily living training
  • Splint fabrication and modifications
  • Wheelchair Seating Assessment
  • Voice and Language Training
  • VitalStim Therapy focused on improving swallowing ability
  • Cognitive retraining techniques

Physical Therapy

Physical therapists (PTs) diagnose and treat patients who are experiencing medical problems or other health related illnesses that limit their ability to function in their daily activities.
PTs assess the patients' needs and develop a specific treatment plan to restore function, reduce pain, and to promote the ability to move.
Common injuries or diagnoses treated on an outpatient basis:

  • Total knee replacement
  • Total hip replacement
  • ACL reconstruction
  • Post-surgical orthopedic patients
  • Back pain
  • CVA (Cerebral Vascular Accident)
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Myocardial infarction
  • Wound care and many more.

Physical therapists assist people with orthopedic conditions and/or injuries, neurological impairments, sports injuries, musculoskeletal injuries, spinal conditions and workplace injuries including repetitive stress disorders.
