Mountain States chosen to lead new, innovative program aimed at improving the health of communities in Virginia

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Mountain States Health Alliance is one of only 32 organizations in the country that were chosen recently to be part of the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) new program aimed at improving the health of Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries. Dickenson Community Hospital, located in Clintwood, Virginia, is licensed for 25-beds but operates as a 1-bed critical access not-for-profit hospital owned by Norton Community Hospital.

The hospital campus includes a 5,700 square foot physician office building for Dickenson Medical Associates. From check-ups, to colds, to chronic illness management, the providers at DMA can take care of the medical needs of patients of all ages and walk ins are accepted.

  • DCH is American College of Radiology accredited for CT Scanning.
