Rick Storey is senior vice president of Citizens Bank, where he has worked for more than 10 years primarily in business banking. He also is a current member of the Washington County (Tenn.) Commission and president of the Appalachian Fair Board.
Rick presently serves on the boards of Girls, Inc., Johnson City Development Authority (past chair), Northeast Tennessee Economic Development Corp., and Buccaneer Athletic Scholarship Association, and as a member of East Tennessee State University Foundation and as an advising board member of the ETSU Center for Banking. He is a former chairman of the Johnson City Development Authority as well as the Washington County Library, and has served as past president of the Gray Ruritan Club.
Rick was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1968 where he served and was wounded in combat in Vietnam and received a Purple Heart. He received an honorary degree from East Tennessee State University, then went on to graduate from banking school at Louisiana State University.
He and his wife, Diana, live in Jonesborough, and have two adult children, Crystal and Wes, one granddaughter and three step-granddaughters. They are members of Gray United Methodist Church. Rick enjoys spending time with his family and friends and staying involved in community-focused organizations.
